Sophie Reale is a Senior Research Fellow and deputy team leader. She is Principal Investigator and co-lead on an NIHR Programme Development Grant and project manager for CAP, an externally funded partnership with Nuffield Health.

Joining the team in 2018, her role evolved from a fixed-term postdoctoral contract to a permanent senior position.

Her academic background is in Sport and Exercise Science (BSc) and Psychology (MSc), with her PhD investigating intervention development (primarily qualitative). She has additional experience in teaching and training.
