Dr Alison Scope

Psychologist | Research Fellow

A close-up portrait of Dr Alison Scope, psychologist and research fellow in team STAMINA at Sheffield Hallam University.

Dr Alison Scope is a Research Fellow who joined the STAMINA team to support clinical recruitment and the training of clinicians at NHS sites involved in the trial; she has also been involved in documenting and reporting findings for this aspect of the work as part of the STAMINA process evaluation.

She joined the team after 18 years at the University of Sheffield, conducting primary research in autism then secondary research in the School of Health & Related Research.

She has a PhD in cognitive development psychology and is a chartered psychologist, which led to her particular interest in behaviour change and using an exercise intervention for the STAMINA trial.
